May perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nProperly mix catalyzed, water-based paint and industrial coatings\nInspect parts prior to painting for proper surface preparation\nPrepare parts for painting by masking and positioning parts\nPaint multiple part types and colors during a normal shift\nWork to a high-quality standard\nSafely operate and maintain spray and mixing equipment\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment including spray booths\nNotify management and purchasing of inventory shortages\nPrepares parts for painting by sanding and sandblasting and filling with epoxy and polyester fillers\nUse of air grinding and sanding tools\nPainter Physical Demands\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAble to stand for 5 hours at a time\nAble to occasionally lift 45 lbs\nAble to wear Personal Protective Equipment needed for the position\nAutomotive / Prototype Painter Education and Experience\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma\nHours 6a.m. - 2:30p.m. (Monday - Friday) OT Saturdays\nHealth Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
