Come join us and make a difference!\nThe selected Data Solution Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise data products, data pipelines, and analytics solutions utilizing Databricks and cloud-native technologies. Working within an Agile delivery team, this role will build scalable, reliable, and governed data solutions that enable reporting, analytics, operational workloads, and AI/ML use cases across the organization.\nThe Data Solution Engineer will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, data engineers, and platform teams to implement modern data engineering solutions and reusable components that align with established architectural standards and engineering best practices. This role is expected to be hands-on in the development of data pipelines, data transformations, data models, and platform integrations while contributing to continuous improvements in quality, performance, and automation.\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency in Databricks, data engineering, and cloud-native development while continuing to expand their expertise in modern lakehouse architecture, data governance, and software engineering practices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise data products, data pipelines, and data integration solutions using Databricks and cloud-native technologies. \nBuild and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold data assets within a lakehouse architecture utilizing Delta Lake, PySpark, Databricks Workflows, Unity Catalog, and serverless compute capabilities. \nDevelop scalable and efficient data transformation, validation, and enrichment processes that support analytics, reporting, operational, and AI/ML workloads. \nImplement data quality, monitoring, and observability controls to ensure trusted and reliable data products. \nDevelop and maintain data models, business logic, and reusable engineering components in accordance with established architectural standards and best practices. \nCollaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions. \nParticipate in code reviews, design reviews, testing activities, and CI/CD processes to improve software quality, reliability, and maintainability. \nTroubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, platform, and performance issues while identifying opportunities for optimization. \nImplement and support data governance, security, and access controls utilizing Unity Catalog and other platform-native capabilities. \nContribute to the automation of deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational support processes. \nDocument data solutions, technical designs, operational procedures, and engineering standards to improve knowledge sharing and maintainability. \nContinuously develop technical expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, Databricks capabilities, and modern software engineering practices. \nPosition is based in either Sarasota, FL at our home office or in our Southwest Regional office in Richardson, TX and is eligible for our hybrid work schedule (3/2).\nIn exchange for your talents, FCCI offers competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package which includes:\nFlexible Work Environment\nPaid Family Leave\nCompetitive PTO & Holidays\nRecognition & Bonus Programs\nMedical, Vision, Dental & Life Insurance\nEmployee Referral Bonus\nPaid Volunteer Time\n401(k) Match & Profit-Sharing\nThe salary range for this position is $92,286-$142,123 annually.
