Dotnet Developer

Broad Function: We are seeking a .NET Developer with minimum 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies. The candidate should have strong expertise in .NET Framework/.NET Core, API development, database programming, and application support. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technology solutions. Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to): Application Development- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core. API & Application Development -Develop and maintain REST APIs, Web Applications, Windows Services, and Console Applications. Requirement Analysis & Solution Design -Analyse business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions. Code Quality & Best Practices - Develop reusable, scalable components and follow coding standards and secure development practices. Testing & Debugging - Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and resolve application issues. Database Development- Work with SQL Server for database design, stored procedures, queries, and performance optimization. Application Support & Maintenance- Handle application enhancements, bug fixes, production support, and performance improvements. Deployment & Release Management -Participate in deployments, release activities, and environment support. Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure successful delivery. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Technical

Skills Required: Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core. Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and REST API development. Good knowledge of SQL Server, database programming, queries, and optimization. Experience with Entity Framework / ADO.NET for data access. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web application development. Experience working with Git/SVN version control systems. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Requirements Desired Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development best practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and commitment towards deliverables. Good to have working exp on applications in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Enterprise domains. Exposure to application migration, modernization, and support projects. Understanding of cloud-native application development and scalable application architectures.
