Our goal is to work together and build stronger, more vibrant communities where everyone can thrive.\nReporting to the Bakery Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following:\nDemonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.\nProvide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.\nPrepare, package, and label bakery products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records.\nMaintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards.\nMonitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO).\nAccept and prepare cake orders according to customer specifications.\nEnsure to keep a clean and well-maintained department.\nSupport and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWho You Are:\nYou are looking for a career opportunity in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and meet the following:\nExperience in a retail bakery setting is considered an asset.\nHonest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do.\nStrongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.\nAble to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.\nAble to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting of 25-50lbs, standing, walking, and kneeling.\nFamiliar with Food Safe procedures and practices.\nFlexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nOur Lake Country Co-op team members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
