Training will be provided if needed.\n\nEnsure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking, and displaying.\n\nFollow opening and closing procedures.\n\nResolve customer issues and answer questions.\n\nProcess returns transactions efficiently.\n\nMaintain checkout operations by adhering to policies and procedures.\n\nEnsure proper maintenance and housekeeping in the store.\n\nFollow safety protocols at all times.\n\nBe available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.\n\nDemonstrate day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and focus on safety.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned to support team operations and customer service initiatives.\n\nRole-Specific Responsibilities:\nBakery Clerk - Bake, package, price, and merchandise bakery products. Assist with decorating cakes and cupcakes. Follow all safety and food preparation procedures.\n\nDeli Clerk - Cut, package, price, and merchandise deli products. Prepare and cook fried chicken. Follow all safety and food preparation procedures.\n\nMeat Clerk - Provide meal solution suggestions and recommendations. Prepare and display butchered and seasoned meat. Receive, wrap, price, and merchandise meat products. Follow all safety and food preparation procedures.\n\nProduce Clerk -Receive, stock, and face produce products. Fill displays following department standards. Assist with freight. Cut produce items for the value-added program. Follow all safety and food preparation procedures.\n\nCustomer Service Clerk -Operate the Point-of-Sale system to process transactions. Stock shelves with inventory. Process returns. Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures. Follow all safety procedures.\n\nGrocery Clerk - Operate the Point-of-Sale system, assist with warehouse and dairy freight, perform popcorn station duties, and retrieve carts. Ensure products are stocked, faced, and organized. Follow all safety procedures.\n\nWhy it matters:\nWe need you to lead outstanding Co-op experiences.\nWho you are:\nYou have Grade 10 education or equivalent retail and/or customer service experience.\n\nYou’re able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
