Whether you're assisting at the till, pumping fuel, stocking shelves, building displays, or helping customers find what they need, you'll play an important role in keeping our store welcoming, organized, and ready to serve the community.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nWelcome members and customers, answer questions, and provide the friendly service Riverbend Co-op is known for.\nProcess transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling and till procedures.\nStock shelves, rotate product, check expiry dates, and ensure products are available and well-presented for our customers.\nPump fuel (gasoline and diesel)\nSet up and maintain merchandising displays, promotional features, and weekly flyer programs.\nAssist with receiving deliveries, putting away products, and maintaining accurate pricing throughout the store.\nHelp keep the store and site clean, organized, and safe for both customers and team members.\nSupport inventory counts and other operational tasks that help keep the store running smoothly.\nFollow food safety, health and safety, and company procedures while contributing to a positive team environment.\nWhat You Will Need\nA positive attitude and strong commitment to customer service.\n\nThe ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nThe ability to perform physical duties including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods (up to 50lbs).\n\nPrevious retail or customer service experience is an asset.\n\nMust be 19 years of age or older to meet legal requirements for selling alcohol.\n\nWith proper training, the ability and willingness to operate equipment as required, including a forklift and preferably a telehandler.\n\nAvailability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.\n\nWhat You'll Get\nA competitive hourly wage and opportunities to pick up additional shifts when available.\nFlexible scheduling that can work around school, family, farm, or other commitments.\nAccess to our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), offering confidential support and resources for you and your family.\nOngoing training and hands-on learning opportunities to help you build new skills and gain retail experience.\nThe opportunity to work for a locally owned Co-op that invests in the communities where we live, work, and play.\nA team environment where your contributions are valued and where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with members, customers, and coworkers.\nApplication Closing Date\nThis opportunity is open to both internal and external candidates until September 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM.\nOnly those selected for an interview will be contacted.
