You will review transactional information and documents, discuss problems with customers, underwrite defects and issue policies. Technical knowledge of the practice of real estate law and an understanding of the mechanics of a real estate transaction is crucial.HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:\nReceive title insurance orders by phone, portal, online and email\n\nReview underlying documentation including title reports, searches, surveys and other related documents\n\nUnderwrite and prepare title insurance policies\n\nRespond to customer inquiries with respect to policy coverage, underwriting, rates and procedures\n\nProvide superior customer service and maintain strong customer relationships\n\nHERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:\n5 years' experience as a real estate law clerk in a law firm working on real estate files from open to close\n\nProfessional and customer service focused, with excellent communication skills\n\nStrong analytical skills, ability to pay attention to detail while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\n\nAbility to work independently as well as with a team\n\nProficiency in Microsoft office\n\nLaw Clerk designation preferred\n\nTitle insurance experience an asset\n\nTotal Direct Compensation:\n67,050 - 81,950Any pay range is in $CAD.
