As a global team, our culture is rooted in five (5) core values that begin with the words “We are” and include: service-first, respectful, amplifiers, open-minded and accountable.\nWe Are Looking For\nThe Production Technician is responsible for independently performing qualified cable and wire harness assembly operations, interpreting manufacturing documentation, and identifying and resolving routine production issues in accordance with established quality and manufacturing requirements.\nWhat You’ll Do \nAs a Production Technician, you’ll be responsible for:\nBuild cable assemblies and wire harnesses from engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, work instructions, and process specifications.\nPerform qualified crimping, soldering, splicing, termination, connector assembly, and cable preparation processes.\nSet up and use applicable production tooling and test equipment.\nPerform continuity, resistance, hipot/insulation, or other applicable electrical testing when trained and authorized.\nInspect assemblies for workmanship, dimensional accuracy, routing, labeling, and component conformity.\nIdentify discrepancies involving components, drawings, tooling, or workmanship and escalate issues as appropriate.\nComplete manufacturing and inspection documentation accurately.\nSupport first-piece, in-process, and final inspection activities.\nPerform rework and repair within approved procedures.\nProvide technical guidance and assist with training Production Technician I employees.\nMaintain FOD, ESD, safety, and housekeeping standards.\nWhat You Bring\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent relevant manufacturing experience may be considered.\nTypically 1-3 years of experience in cable assembly, wire harness assembly, electronics, aerospace, defense, or similar manufacturing operation\nAbility to read and interpret cable assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.\nDemonstrated proficiency with applicable hand tools, production equipment, and testing equipment.\nDemonstrated proficiency in one or more specialized assembly processes.\nAbility to independently complete standard and moderately complex assemblies.\nAbility to identify and troubleshoot routine assembly problems.\nAbility to perform work to established quality and productivity requirements.\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nAbility to provide technical guidance to less-experienced Production Technicians.\nSpecial Requirements:\n U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. \nITAR Requirement \n120.15.
