(pending experience)\nJob Duties:\nPerform Line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft.\nPerform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within the scope of approval) returning aircraft to service.\nResponsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals.\nTroubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain fully functioning equipment according to Approved Technical Data provided by the customer.\nEnsure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented.\nPerform line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned.\nCollaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.\nTroubleshoots to determine malfunctions on aircraft avionics components and electrical systems components, such as airborne navigation/communicationsystems, weather radar, autopilot, compass systems, and accessories component level.\nUses all mandated safety equipment and complies with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines.\nCompletes all checklists, forms, and reports as required in accordance with the company, government, and FAA regulations and guidelines.\nParticipates in on-the-job training with onsite personnel.\nTest and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, or voltmeters.\nKeep and maintain records of maintenance and repair work.\nLay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems, following documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.\nBasic Qualifications:\nMust have a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.\n2+ years’ experience in recent line maintenance, emphasis on troubleshooting, daily and turn checks, and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.\nMust have a valid driver’s license.\nAbility to frequently stand, walk, continually utilize hand, and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places.\nAbility to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds. Have the awareness that he/she will be working near and around moving mechanical parts, around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, and exposed to loud noises.\nUtilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.\nBe exposed to weather conditions outside as well as non-weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold.\nMust be able to read and write English.\nMust pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.\nMust be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet customer demand.\nMust be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAircraft technician with B747, B767, and 737 NG experience.\nHighly skilled in aircraft avionics components and electrical systems. \nGood organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nCustomer-facing skills, ability to work with the flight crew and interact in a professional manner.\nIndependent and self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct supervision.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nFEAM Aero, in addition to a good working environment and competitive pay, it is FEAM’s policy to provide a combination of supplemental benefits to all eligible full-time employees.
