We offer competitive wages, full health care benefits and a continuous learning culture for those who want to grow with the company.\nJob Summary:\nThe Inventory Control Lead position is a critical support role for the management and accuracy of the storage, control, and distribution of materials to fulfill the SIOP.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nManages and trains employees.\nConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.\nHandles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. \nJob Duties/Responsibilities:\nInventory Control / Analysis:Develops efficient material flow processes and proposes inventory management strategies.\nEstablishes or aligns actual part storage locations with ERP information (Syteline) for both new and existing parts.\nCreate and lead cycle count programs to frequently audit inventory accuracy.\nTracks inventory accuracy trends and maintains a robust root cause/corrective action program to ensure measurable continuous improvement.\nFormalizes and conducts steel reconciliation adjustments within Syteline.\nDetermines within the manufacturing process the step in which material is consumed and updates Syteline routers and BOMs accordingly.\nAssists in Plan For Every Part (PFEP) process used to set purchased and manufactured part inventory levels required to support SIOP.\nConducts root cause analysis activities and proposes thoughtful corrective actions to allow for data based continous improvement trends related to inventory accuracy and availability.\nReconciles negative inventory reports, root causes, and develops improvement processes.\nMitigates excess inventory by reviewing open POs, evaluating Safety Stock levels, and monitoring WIP.\n\nPerforms write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory through Adjustment Approval process.\nRefine procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.\nPerforms other related duties as required.\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nStrong analytical skills to analyze data, recognize trends, and develop strategic improvement plans for inventory control\nExcellent organizational and planning skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.\nProficient understanding of ERP systems\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.\n3-5 years of inventory management experience or materials control field is required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.\nProlonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
