We offer competitive wages, full health care benefits and a continuous learning culture for those who want to grow with the company.\nJob Summary:\nThe Logistical Engineer provides analytical support to the Production Planning and Procurement team, with a focus on inventory planning, safety stock, and process standardization as the plant scales.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities:\nProcess Standards & Design:Extends and adapts Plant 1 & 2 logistics standards (milk run, replenishment, transfer execution) to Plant 4 operations\nSupports the transporter/interplant transfer process, including prioritization logic for production vs. aftermarket demand\nAssiss in defining planning parameters (days on hand, safety stock) for purchased and manufactured parts by supplier location\n\nProcurement Support:Supports ABC/XYZ analysis, safety stock optimization, and EOQ reviews for make and buy parts\nAssists Buyers and the Production Planning and Procurement Manager with excess and obsolete inventory investigations\nHelps build and maintain reporting tools (PowerBI) to track supplier inventory levels against planning parameters\n\nContinuous Improvement:Participates in Kaizen events and A3 problem solving related to the Plant 4 Warehouse stand-up and material flow\nDocuments standard work and supports training for new Plant 4 processes\n\nPerforms other related duties as required\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills; comfortable working with data in PowerBI or Excel\nWorking knowledge of inventory planning concepts (safety stock, EOQ, ABC/XYZ analysis)\nProficient understanding of ERP systems, Syteline preferred\nSelf-directed with the ability to take direction from a supervisor and manage assigned projects to completion\nExcellent organizational and communication skills\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field\nPrior working experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain preferred\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers\nProlonged periods of standing and walking through the factory\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
