We think from first principles. You’ll work on problems that matter, building software that fundamentally changes how insurance operates.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own and evolve some of our core AI-focused product areas, including our Claims, Control Tower and Billing products.
• Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team of 16-18 engineers, covering ML, SWE, and data/analytics.
• Define the technical vision and architecture for our agentic platform, enabling autonomous systems that measurably improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Champion engineering excellence by maintaining a high bar for quality through code reviews, architectural oversight, and occasional hands-on contributions.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Delivery teams to align our engineering roadmap with business objectives and ship high-impact features.
• Act as a strategic technical partner to go-to-market stakeholders, translating business goals into robust, scalable engineering plans.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous growth as the engineering organization scales.

Who We Hope You Are:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record leading engineering organizations of 15-20+ people.
• Deep expertise in B2B enterprise SaaS, with early-stage startup experience highly preferred.
• Strong background in shipping and maintaining AI-powered products in production environments.
• Experience designing and deploying agentic systems, AI workflows, or LLM-powered applications at scale.
• A demonstrated leader and mentor who knows how to build, manage, and empower multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across technical and business domains.
• Demonstrates end-to-end ownership and accountability for outcomes, proactively identifying and resolving challenges before they escalate.
• Excels in fast-paced environments, driving rapid execution while embracing continuous learning and iteration.
• Cultivates high-trust relationships through transparency, empathetic leadership, and an inclusive approach that supports both individual and team success.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above. Total compensation package includes stock options, benefits and additional perks.
