Exhibits a strong sense of urgency to initiate and positively respond to business opportunities.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nProvides an on-going professional and courteous engagement with selected customers in an effort to secure and grow business.\nAssesses customer needs to determine correct service offering, provides quotes and/or enters orders. Identifies price objections and attempts to overcome by providing value and benefit of services. Recognizes opportunities to negotiate price with customer within allotted parameters in order to secure and close business, or elevates to the appropriate level.\nDevelops customer relationships in an effort to manage and grow business by becoming “intimate” with customers’ transportation needs. Ensures long-term, exceptional customer relations are maintained.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n1-3 years customer service, account management, or sales experience required\nThis compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.
