The role provides support and customer service to various departments and stakeholders throughout the facility and requires the ability to effectively manage a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as this position regularly partners with co-workers and departments across the organization. With a primary emphasis on HVAC systems, a strong HVAC background and technical expertise are required for success in this role.\nIn This Role You Will\nOperate, monitor, repair and maintain the facility's environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC and lighting systems as required for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.\nRepair and rebuild various items, such as motors, compressors, and ice machines.\nFollow the preventive maintenance program, energy management program and standard operating procedures for all machinery and equipment.\nTracks and enters appropriate information into corporate Maintenance Program.\nAssist other Operation Department divisions to expedite event conversions, as needed.\nPromote a safe working environment for all employees by following the life safety and emergency program as needed.\nOperate equipment, such as, light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, scrubbing machines, or other light power-driven equipment.\nRespond to routine, precautionary and emergency alarms from building automation and life safety systems.\nRepairs and maintains food service equipment including ovens, grills, dishwashers, deep fryers, and refrigeration units.\nThis position requires physical activity including standing, walking, climbing and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds\nAll other duties and responsibilities as assigned. \nThe Experience You Will Bring\nAA/AS Degree or Vocational Certification in related field required \nHVAC certification/licensing required\nJourneyman Electrician/Plumbing license preferred\n5+ years hands-on experience with HVAC equipment required\nProficient at reading schematics / architectural drawings; \nStrong verbal and written communication skills;\nAble to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment\nDynamic, hardworking, confident.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) \nMust be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.\nUnderstanding of commercial kitchen equipment.\n\nMemphis Basketball LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
