Everyone gets to push their potential to the full.\nDiscover extraordinary* every day.\nThe role designed for you\nThe IT Integration & Data Specialist will join the recently established IT function and will report to the IT Manager & Solution Architect, who is a first report to BU IT Director.\nThe main goal of the role is to support the transition from local to global, BU-wide systems, processes, and mindset. The key priorities are:\nDesign data solutions to enable a successful integration of all the different legal entities.\nSimplify both the architecture solutions and the definition of standard group policies.\nPartner across the organization - within the IT department and with the business functions - to support key transformation initiatives and facilitate data-driven decisions.\nYour responsibilities\nYou will play an active role in the newly extended IT landscape across the following main pillars (but not limited to):\nIntegration Solutions\nBe involved in activities on the Integration Layer, acting as a bridge among internal IT teams, business analysts, and external resources.\nAdopt best-in-class solutions to connect systems and to facilitate and standardize systems integration.\nEngage business functions across the BU legal entities, working closely with key users to collect requirements and define priorities - from design to release.\nIntegrate processes and applications across the landscape.\nSupport daily activities, promptly addressing issues and involving external consultants when needed.\nEDI Evolution\nSupport the EDI onboarding and evolution strategy, contributing to the expansion and standardization of EDI capabilities across the Business Unit.\nSupport Customer EDI initiatives, acting as a liaison between internal IT teams, business functions, external resources, and customers’ IT contacts, from requirements definition through onboarding and go-live.\nContribute to the evolution of EDI beyond customers, assessing and supporting potential connections with other external business partners, such as carriers, logistics providers, suppliers, and other third parties.\nPromote standardized and scalable EDI solutions, reducing point-to-point complexity and supporting the adoption of common integration patterns and standards across legal entities.\nAcross both pillars, you will also:\nGuarantee solutions that are suited to and aligned with the standard guidelines.\nRecommend technological choices and identify the best solutions with respect to market standards - from design through delivery and roll-out across countries.\nIdentify issues, design and propose solutions to be implemented.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with business users to gain an expert-level understanding of the business context.\nWho are we looking fo r\nBSc / MSc in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.\n1-3 years of experience gained in a consultancy firm and/or within the IT teams of a structured multinational manufacturing company; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.\nSolid knowledge of current technological trends, as well as of database design and management, data modelling, and data-quality management.\nStrong analytical mindset, sharp on detail, combined with a flexible and open-minded approach.\nAble to operate effectively within a matrix organization, reaching goals with a hands-on approach, on time and on budget.\nStrong ability to collaborate with different company functions, with effective communication skills.\nFluent in Italian and English.\nNice to have (preferred):\nExposure to or initial hands-on experience with enterprise integration/iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi or equivalent)\nWorking knowledge of SQL, data modelling, APIs and basic integration patterns.\nExposure to enterprise ERP landscapes (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365), and integrations with other applications.\nFamiliarity with EDI concepts and standards, customer/supplier onboarding, message mapping and common EDI business documents.\nBasic understanding of system integration and standardization of interfaces and processes across different legal entities and systems.\nWhy you can’t miss this opportunity\nShape the data backbone of a global manufacturing group.\nAs part of a project to strengthen the Group’s IT area, you will actively contribute to the success of Fedrigoni, helping the company make data-driven decisions.
