Purpose and main priorities of the role:\nThe Production Manager for Coating is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality execution of production activities within the department. The role ensures alignment with production plans, guarantees compliance with quality and safety standards, and drives continuous improvement across processes, people, and performance indicators.\nThe position reports to the Plant Director and manages the production workforce within the assigned area.\n2. Your responsibilities will include:\nYou will coordinate production activities in alignment with production plan, managing any deviations in collaboration with Planning.\n\nYou will work closely with the Plant Director to identify and implement operational improvements and corrective actions.\n\nYou will collaborate continuously with Technical Management, Planning, and Maintenance functions to ensure product quality and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.\n\nYou will manage the human resources assigned to production, with a strong focus on motivation, engagement, and professional development.\n\nYou will support approval process for production-related purchase requests in line with operational needs.\n\nYou will request and support supervision of maintenance interventions to ensure full efficiency of production assets.\n\nYou will coordinate production teams, shift schedules, and cutting/programming activities.\n\nYou will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures across all production activities.\n\nYou will guarantee adherence to quality standards and support continuous training initiatives in collaboration with Quality Dept.\n\nYou will actively participate in risk assessment activities related to health and safety in cooperation with HSE functions, focusing on equipment, machinery, and operational areas under your responsibility.\n\n3. Key Responsibilities (performance focus):\nEnsure full compliance with efficiency, quality, and delivery targets.\n\nMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (Safety, Efficiency, Quality)\n\nDrive motivation, engagement, and professional growth of the production team\n\nContribute to the prevention and continuous improvement of health and safety conditions in the workplace.\n\n4. Who we are looking for:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or economics will be considered a plus\n\nProven experience in production or manufacturing environments, ideally in industrial sectors\n\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams\n\nSolid understanding of production planning, maintenance coordination, and industrial processes\n\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nHigh level of responsibility, proactivity, and results orientation\n\nStrong attention to safety, quality, and operational discipline\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment\n\nGood knowledge of IT tools and production systems\n\nResult-oriented mindset, pragmatism, and a customer-centric approach\n\nItalian (proficient), English (good knowledge)\n\n5.
