You will use your policy analysis and research knowledge, skills, and abilities to produce materials that are more accessible to limited English proficiency (LEP) communities, helping HHS OMH to promote programs, initiatives and administration health priorities, empowering LEP communities to access HHS OMH materials independently, and making them more informed about important health and wellness issues. Join FWI in helping HHS OHM to communicate with LEP communities more effectively, thereby improving the health and wellness of millions of LEP Americans.\nFWI is expanding rapidly and has been recognized as a 2024, 2025 and 2026 Top Workplace, offering excellent growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.\nWork Schedule and Location:\nRemote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Time.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze federal plain language and communications policy and guidelines.\nConduct research in support of contract deliverables, such as English literacy promotion materials, community outreach materials, meeting agendas, annual reports, and final reports. \nConduct research in support of plain-language content development and accessibility and the promotion of English-language literacy.\nPrepare written reports, analyses, briefings, memoranda, and technical documentation. \nProvide research and technical support, which may include literature review; data collection; data entry/coding; data cleaning/diagnostics; intermediate data analysis; feasibility analysis; drafting components of papers/reports/presentations; data archiving preparation; and general scientific, technical, and project support duties. \nReview, analyze, and compile data, technical information, and related research. \nHelp to identify issues and emerging trends. \nAttend and contribute to project status update meetings at least biweekly. \nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in policy analysis, data analytics, public policy or administration, computer science, or a similar field of study. \nAt least three years of experience conducting policy analysis or program analysis and evaluation, conducting research, or performing similar work, preferably in the public health realm. \nMust be eligible for an HHS Public Trust security clearance. \nDesired:\nMaster’s degree in data analytics, public policy or administration, computer science, or a similar field of study. \nFederal government, government contracting, or public health experience preferred but not required. \nFWI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.\nWhy Join Our Team\nAt FWI, we place the highest importance on creating an exceptional employee experience.
