processes of finished products.\n\nReceiving of products from various suppliers and verify quantities with the invoice/s.\n\nEnsuring quality of products received are in line with company standards.\n\nOversee stock movement and report any issues with stock timeously.\n\nEnsure accurate receiving, storage, picking and dispatch processes.\n\nEnforce strict FIFO and stock rotation policies.\n\nConduct and manage monthly and ad hoc stock counts.\n\nInvestigate and report all stock variances.\n\nEnsure returned goods, damages and claims are processed accurately.\n\nProtect inventory from loss, damages or shrinkage.\n\nMaintain pallet control and reconciliation in line with the company policy.\n\nTimeously organising and planning distribution of trucks on loading dates.\n\nControl and manage the accuracy of invoices, picking slips, delivery notes and weighbridge slips.\n\nPractice continuous improvement principles on the dispatch of finished goods.\n\nEnsure effective route planning and load optimisation.\n\nDrive depot productivity and eliminate operational inefficiencies.\n\nEnsure all deliveries are executed accurately, timeously and according to company standards.\n\nEnsure fleet availability, roadworthiness and compliance.\n\nMonitor fuel consumption and vehicle utilisation.\n\nDrive profitability on trucks.\n\nEnsure preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to.\n\nReport accidents immediately and manage corrective processes.\n\nEnsure forklifts and material handling equipment are serviced and legally compliant.\n\nConduct routine vehicle and asset inspections.\n\nDrive depot-level fleet utilisation optimisation in alignment with Distribution Manager targets.\n\nDebriefing of driver's documentation upon return to depot.\n\nMonitor satellite tracking of trucks.\n\nMaintain strong relationships with key customers.\n\nEnsure timeous resolution of customer complaints and queries, (including credit notes).\n\nSupport sales and operations alignment through proactive communication.\n\nEnsure depot supports company brand and service reputation.\n\nMaintain high-performance levels on customer services and needs.\n\nVerify correct invoicing and timely processing of PODs.\n\nMaintain accurate time & attendance, overtime and bonus records.\n\nParticipate in annual budgeting process and monthly variance reporting.\n\nControl costs & expenditure against budget.\n\nPurchase of fleet requirements.\n\nDevelop and lead a high-performing depot team.Ensure compliance with HR policies and disciplinary procedures.\n\nConduct bi-annual performance appraisals.\n\nEnsure training and development aligned with ISO standards.\n\nDrive productivity, accountability and team morale.\n\nManage leave balances and workforce planning.\n\nEnsure full compliance with ISO standards and company SOPs.\n\nMaintain hygiene, housekeeping and pest control standards.\n\nEnsure adherence to HACCP, Health & Safety legislation.\n\nEnsure fumigation and stock preservation standards are maintained.\n\nDrive a ZERO fatality / harm safety culture.\n\nAlways ensure audit readiness.\n\nSupport digital initiatives (TMS, tracking systems, ERP enhancements).\n\nDevelop and maintain effective Warehouse Management System (WMS).\n\nMonitor KPIs and identify process improvement opportunities (weighbridge, weight scales, etc).\n\nImplement depot workflow improvements to increase efficiency.\n\nChampion a measurement-driven culture within depot operations.\n\nLead full depot operations including warehousing, secondary distribution and administration.\n\nEnsure all deliveries are executed accurately, timeously and according to company standards.\n\nMaintain optimal stock levels aligned to
