If you’re excited about being a client-facing engineer who makes a real impact, this is the opportunity for you.\nYou:\nAs a Senior Software Engineer in the Customer Success Department, you will be responsible for making sure our products are installed and meet our clients requirements with integration and performance management. You will work with a broad range of technologies including multiple flavours of SQL, NoSQL database, on-premise environments, Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google), along with multiple streaming or messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka). While working with these technologies, you will help with installation and configuration of our solutions, but will also develop custom Java inbound and outbound interfaces, use web services to enhance data in process and will develop custom extensions and modules for our Fraud Analysis platform. You will work as part of a project team alongside Data Scientist, Project Managers, Fraud Analysts and your peers to meet with the client, understand their needs, turn those needs into requirements and execute on those requirements.\n\nYour Day to Day:\nExecute full software development life cycle, including building integrations and enhancements to Feedzai core product;\nWrite well-designed, testable code;\nIntegrate multiple software components into a fully functional software system;\nTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems;\nDeploy and support systems in production;\nComply with best practices and industry standards;\nWork with Agile principles to regularly deliver quality products;\nEnsure proper feature deployment or product upgrades;\nProvide Second Tier support for clients that are live;\nMentor, coach and inspire other members of the team, helping to foster software development best practices.\n\nYou Have & You Know-how:\nA Bachelor of Science and or a Master of Science in Computer Science, a degree in a comparable field, or equivalent work experience;\n4 + years of extensive work experience in Java software development;\nThread and JVM Memory Management in high-performance systems;\nClient engagement experience and ability to act as a consultant to our clients;\nExcellent English communication skills, both verbal and written;\nExperience with Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Ansible, Docker, Databases (nice to have).\n\nThe Customer Success Team is responsible for delivering our product to our clients.
