This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced distribution environment while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of Accounts Payable activities.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n· Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely.\n· Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.\n· Verify invoice coding and obtain necessary approvals.\n· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.\n· Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items.\n· Maintain vendor files and supporting documentation.\n· Monitor accounts payable inbox and respond to inquiries.\n· Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.\n· Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable.\n· Assist with special projects and data cleanup as assigned.\n· Maintain confidentiality of financial and vendor information.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience\n· Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.\n· Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.\n· Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or high-volume processing environment is a plus.\n· Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, AS400, or similar systems preferred.\nSkills and Abilities\n· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.\n· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.\n· Excellent organizational and time management skills.\n· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.\n· Strong verbal and written communication skills.\n· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n· Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Experience with three-way matching (purchase order, receiving document, and invoice).\n· Experience processing a high volume of invoices.\n· Experience during ERP implementations or system conversions.\nCompensation\nHourly Rate: $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience.\nExpected Duration\n3 months\nFeeser's Food Distributors is an equal opportunity employer.
