We provide dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products to restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools, and other institutions.\nPosition Summary\nThe Warehouse Operations Trainer is responsible for coordinating and delivering training programs that support employee development, operational excellence, food safety, and workplace safety. This role partners closely with Operations, HR, and Safety teams to onboard new employees, conduct refresher training, identify skill gaps, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct onboarding and hands-on training for warehouse associates in receiving, put-away, replenishment, order selecting, loading, sanitation, and equipment operation.\nTrain employees on warehouse SOPs, food safety standards, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety procedures.\nProvide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective training to improve employee success and productivity.\nTrain and certify employees on powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.\nInstruct employees on warehouse technology, including RF scanners, voice-picking systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS).\nEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, HACCP principles, sanitation standards, and cold-chain procedures.\nConduct refresher, remedial, and post-incident training as needed.\nEvaluate employee performance through observations, practical assessments, and productivity metrics.\nIdentify training opportunities that improve safety, quality, productivity, and retention.\nMaintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.\nAssist with the implementation of new processes, equipment, technology, and operational initiatives.\nDevelop and update training materials, SOPs, job aids, and evaluation tools.\nSupport warehouse operations during peak periods as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\n2+ years of warehouse, distribution, foodservice, logistics, training, or supervisory experience preferred.\nExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.\nKnowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, replenishment, picking, and shipping processes.\nUnderstanding of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices, and food safety requirements.\nExperience training, coaching, mentoring, or leading employees preferred.\nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency with warehouse technology systems and basic computer applications.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments ranging from -10°F to 90°F.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift up to 100 pounds.\nAbility to safely operate powered industrial equipment.\nAbility to work in fast-paced warehouse environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.\nWhy Join Feeser's?\nFamily-owned company with over 120 years of success.\nCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.\nOpportunities for career growth and professional development.\nCollaborative and team-focused work environment.\nMake a direct impact on employee success, safety, and operational performance.\nFeeser's, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
