You’ll develop project management skills through experience in the full life cycle of a project including citywide planning, project scoping, design, and construction support, and supporting state and local agencies implementing multimodal infrastructure improvements, policies, and plans. At Fehr & Peers you’ll maximize your personal and professional growth potential as you contribute to a variety of projects.\nResponsibilities\nProvide support for planning and feasibility activities by developing concept designs and planning level cost estimates\n\nDevelop and analyze design alternatives for traffic engineering projects\n\nConduct field visits to review existing conditions and design constraints\n\nPrepare design plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates\n\nProvide design support during construction (requests for information, contractor submittals, etc.)\n\nEffectively communicate engineering concepts in memos, reports, and project meetings\n\nCollaborate with a diverse set of professionals including planners, engineers, technicians, analysists, and data scientists\n\nWork under the guidance of professional engineers to gain experience that counts towards state licensing requirement for the P.E. exam\n\nEmbrace opportunities to learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and ways of working that enhance day-to-day work, while maintaining professional judgment, critical thinking, and accountability for results\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's or master's degree in transportation, civil engineering, or a related field\n\nEngineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification or the ability to obtain within 12 months\n\nWork experience and/or completion of significant project coursework in traffic engineering design or related transportation design experience\n\nExceptional technical writing and public speaking skills\n\nWork experience and/or coursework with software such as AutoCAD and/or Microstation (highly desirable)\n\nOpenness to exploring and responsibly using new technologies and tools,
