The Mill Team Lead is responsible for assisting with meeting quality & production goals and enforce safe work practices for assigned work cells. Leads will assist in training new and existing employees, supplementing the production line when required, and proactively creating an environment where safety/quality standards are a priority. \nEssential Functions:\nAudit/verify proper PPEs are being utilized for assigned group\nCommunicate safety updates and toolbox topics to assigned group\nReport all safety issues to Production Supervisor\nAssist with accident investigations\nEscalate issues to Production Supervisor\nRespond to Operator alerts within assigned work cell - Standard Work/non-conformance\nAudit line-side material - ensure min/max is maintained for assigned work cell\nIdentify and report (to Production Supervisor) Team opportunities for improvement and Prod, Safety, Quality, and Training,\nReport to and assist the Production Supervisor in resolving discrepancies and production issues.
