This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and have experience in material handling environments, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability.\nSchedule\nShift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.\nStarting Pay: $23.50 per hour with ability to earn a monthly incentive bonus.\nHourly or Incentive Bonus\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance, plus FSA/HSA, Disability, and Life insurance (eligible after 30 days)\n401(K) Retirement Savings Plan with company match\nPaid Time Off, including Vacation, Sick Time, Holidays, Parental Leave, and Wellness\nProduct Discounts, and more\nQualifications\nAbility to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands\nComfortable working outdoors and staying physically active throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)\nPrior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience preferred \nExperience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts or similar) preferred\nExperience with, or readiness to learn, distribution technology such as RF scanners\nRegular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment\nCommitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements\nDetail-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to step in where needed\nResponsibilities\nSafely operate forklifts other yard powered industrial equipment (PIT) to move, load, and unload pipe and materials\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality\nStock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flow\nAccurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment\nPrioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines and support operational needs\nMaintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures for assigned task areas\nMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard environment\nFollow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times\nParticipate in safety observations, audits, and team meetings\nCommunicate effectively with team members and support a collaborative work environment\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.\nAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
