You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.\nFerguson is now seeking an BIM/VDC - Engineering Service Specialist to join our team!\nThis role will help lead the way to delivering to our clients drafting services. This role is responsible for preparing detailed piping drawings, including elevations, sections and sheet layouts per industry/company standards. In a field experiencing growth, we are looking for a candidate who can lead and manage numerous projects and tasks while being flexible to accommodate changing deadlines and priorities.\n\nLocation:\nThis role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.\nResponsibilities\nCreate shop drawings for mechanical, civil, and structural systems on new or modified waterworks systems for construction.\nEnsure that the design and drafting concepts/details are accurately and clearly conveyed on drawings.\nComplete drawings, create BIM models, and maintain VDC standards, processes, and workflows.\nAssist in creating and maintaining standard regional and global templates and family libraries.\nMeet, communicate, and collaborate with internal and external customers.\nMaintain a high-level of mechanical aptitude and construction knowledge.\nApply strong time-management skills to meet project deadlines.\nParticipate with customers on VDC integration projects.\nReview design and construction documents.\nAdvance global BIM/VDC initiatives.\nQualifications\nA Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction science, architecture, or a similar field and 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.\nAbility to create BIM/VDC models and update with current construction documents and specifications.\nRevit Software is highly preferred\n Waterworks experience is highly preferred.\nA high degree of integrity, superior attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.\nRequires a fundamental understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.\nAbility to discuss projects with customers and facilitate open communication.\nProficiency with Autodesk software and Microsoft Office programs.\nStrong time management and organizational skills are essential.\nDemonstrate effective presentation and writing skills.\nStrong work ethic and great interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work in a team environment.\nAt Ferguson, we care for each other. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.\n-\n$4,799.70 - $9,075.00-\nEstimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.\n-\nThis role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.\n-\nFerguson complies with all wage regulations.
