You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.\nEnterprise PMO Program Manager\nWe are seeking an associate to join the Enterprise Strategy & Planning team to oversee the alignment and execution of approved critical initiatives & programs. The Enterprise Strategy & Planning team enables strategy development and resource alignment to support strategy execution. The team provides leadership and capabilities around strategic planning & development, program & project management, business planning, and corporate venture.\nAs Enterprise PMO Program Manager, you will be responsible for effective and efficient planning and execution of the initiatives to deliver results on time, on budget.\nThis position will require engagement with Vice Presidents and Directors leading critical initiatives and transparent communication will be key. A high degree of business acumen, ability to collaborate and influence all personality types, and efficient facilitation is key.\nThis position is a hybrid role in Newport News, VA. (Schedule 3 days in office, usually T, W, Th and 2 days Remote usually M, F). More office time may be needed for onboarding, training or meetings.\nWe may consider a Remote for the right individual who lives outside the Newport News area.\nResponsibilities:\nProgram Leadership: Lead the end-to-end management of strategic programs. Act as a strategic thought partner.\n Cross-Functional Orchestration: Drive alignment and commonality across customer groups, business, functions (e.g., Technology, HR, Finance etc) and other key partner groups to ensure seamless program execution and effective communication.\nPlanning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive program plans, proactively manage dependencies and risks, and ensure adherence to budgetary and resource allocation parameters.\nOutcome-Driven Management: Define and monitor key performance indicators to ensure programs achieve intended business outcomes, with a focus on value realization and return on investment.\nProgram Management Excellence: Mentor and guide project/ program management personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.\nProgram Governance: Establish solid governance that includes managing risks & dependencies.\nFosters Open Communication: Eloquent in communicating with team members at varied levels and promotes consistent reporting.\nDrives Accountability: A strong natural leadership style that motivates and inspires excellence and drives high standards for individual, team, and organizational accomplishment through teamwork and empowerment; tenaciously work to meet or exceed challenging goals and foster continuous improvement.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.\nPMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred.\nExperience:\n7+ years’ experience with project management\n5+ years’ experience functional experience in implementing process changes and running large, complex projects\n5+ years of experience in large-scale Programs/Projects\nExperience across multiple project types including technology and non-technology projects\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)\nPrevious work-related experiences managing programs and analyzing complex execution plans, managing and/or facilitating identification of risks, issues and decisions and driving general governance and alignment.\nSolid understanding in project management, principles and practices for planning, scheduling, resource allocation, monitoring, and evaluating projects.\nStrong customer service skills with a focus on problem solving and resolution\nAble to drive decision making across all levels of the organization, across multi-disciplined and matrixed teams\nStrong team building, coaching, and development skills\nSkilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities\nAbility to plan and implement short- and long-term initiative plans and goals\nAbility to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports for varied interested parties\nAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
