This is a field-based role supporting our Brookshire and Spring, TX locations. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time in the field, traveling locally daily to meet with customers, associates, and business partners across both markets.\nGeneral areas of responsibility include providing leadership for the organization's customer-facing associates and branch functions. This includes providing competent installation capacity to support the sales of finished goods and ensuring that existing program tools and processes are consistently implemented to maintain program integrity.\nResponsibilities:\nDirect Reports: 8-12 Installation Technicians\nReports directly to Senior Installation Manager - Appliances \nSupport outside sales and showroom consultants to help secure new business\nWork across multiple KOB’s - appliances, cabinets, and lighting\nManages vendor relations regarding pricing and products\nLead appliance install tech’s, delivery, and installation coordinator associates\nLeads outside contractors if project activities are sub-contracted\nConsult with associates and customers at job sites\nPerform quality checks on the installation work to ensure accurate installation practices are used\nVerify that all paperwork and documentation related to the installation is completed and accurate\nManage installation related issues and provide solutions\nPlan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet timelines\nDirect or coordinate activities of project personnel\nWork with branch trainer and manager(s) to ensure delivery and install processes are maintained\nParticipate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team\nConduct regular associate meetings\nRepresent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed\nQualifications:\n3+ years experience preferred with duties in routing, scheduling, or appliance installation or 3 years installing appliances as a lead.\nDemonstrated experience using standard hand tools, electric tools and motorized and/or manual lifting devices\nContinued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices\nExcellent customer service skills a must\nAttention to detail, shown integrity and professionalism\nProficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required\nAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
