You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.\nOverview:\nWe are looking for an Operations Manager - Non-Residential in our Riviera Beach location.\nThe Operations Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of non-residential activity including safety, quality, staffing, equipment utilization, and ongoing improvement in our kitting and assembly operations. This leader drives operational excellence by ensuring all processes meet customer requirements, production schedules, quality standards, and financial objectives.\nThe Operations Manager develops and leads high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nChampion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards.\nConduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up.\nPartner with Quality teams to ensure standards, specifications, and customer requirements are consistently met.\nDrive continuous improvements in product quality and manufacturing processes while minimizing rework and scrap.\nEnsure compliance with applicable standards, certifications, and operational procedures\nOperational Leadership\nLead all operations, including pipe cutting, assembly, testing, packaging, and shipping activities.\nEnsure production schedules are driven efficiently to meet customer delivery commitments while maintaining quality and safety standards.\nDrive operational performance through effective labor planning, workflow management, equipment utilization, and process optimization.\nMonitor and improve important metrics related to efficiency, efficiency, quality, safety, timely delivery, and cost management.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained manufacturing environment applying Lean and continuous improvement principles.\nPeople Leadership & Development\nLead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and fabrication associates to build a highly engaged and high-performing workforce.\nEstablish clear expectations and accountability for operational performance, safety, quality, and customer service.\nDevelop succession plans and training programs that enhance technical skills, leadership capabilities, and operational expertise.\nFoster a culture that promotes teamwork, respect, inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning.\nContinuous Improvement & Performance Management\nApply operational metrics, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.\nLead Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and cost reduction initiatives that improve productivity and operational efficiency.\nImplement standardized work practices and best-in-class manufacturing processes.\nDrive inventory optimization and material flow improvements to support production and customer demand.\nCross-Functional Partnership\nCollaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Engineering, Inventory, Transportation, Finance, and Human Resources teams to support business objectives.\nPartner with fabrication engineering and project collaborators to ensure customer specifications and project requirements are accurately accomplished.\nProvide operational insights, recommendations, and strategic support to leadership regarding capacity planning, workforce needs, and operational investments.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.\n5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, industrial production, or distribution environment.\n3+ years of experience managing supervisors, production teams, or operational departments.\nExperience leading pipe fabrication, steel fabrication, fire protection fabrication, manufacturing, welding, or industrial production operations preferred.\nStrong understanding of production planning, process management, quality systems, and operational performance metrics.\nExperience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence methodologies preferred.\nDemonstrated success leading teams, driving engagement, and developing talent.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.\nThorough understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.\nProficiency in Microsoft O365 and production reporting systems.\nPreferred Leadership Characteristics:\nCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.\nStrong business acumen and financial awareness.\nAbility to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational leadership.\nResults-oriented leader who drives accountability and continuous improvement.\nProven ability to lead through change and support business growth initiatives.\nWhy join our Non-Res Operations Team?\nThis role offers the opportunity to lead a critical operation that directly supports some of the largest commercial, industrial, and fire protection projects across the country.
