You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.\nPosition Overview\nFerguson is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative-Facilities Supply with experience in MultiFamily, Hospitality, Senior Living or Education Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) and Renovations experience to manage and grow an existing customer portfolio while actively developing new business in the Madison, Wisconsin Market. A fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone & laptop will be provided.\nThe ideal candidate is consultative and data-driven, with a solid understanding of MRO solutions and a proven ability to grow share of wallet by building trusted relationships with Property Managers, Regional Managers, and Maintenance teams. This role spends the majority of time in the field, engaging customers face-to-face.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and grow relationships with an assigned base of customers and key vendor partners.\n\nIncrease share of wallet by identifying customer needs and delivering tailored MRO solutions to active, new, and inactive accounts.\n\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, partnering with management to develop and execute territory and account strategies.\n\nCreate and execute territory and account plans aligned with sales objectives, leveraging data, CRM insights, and competitive analysis.\n\nMaintain a healthy, accurate sales pipeline that balances customer satisfaction with profitable growth.\n\nMonitor competitive activity and communicate market insights and recommendations to leadership.\n\nContinuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills to maintain a professional, credible presence in the field.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum of 4 years of outside sales experience within theMultifamily and/ or Hospitality, Education verticals, ideally in theMRO, distribution, or vendor space.\n\nProven success working with Property Managers, Regional Managers, Facility/Maintenance Supervisors, and Maintenance Technicians.\n\nDemonstrated ability to use data, analytics, and CRM tools to drive sales growth and manage pipeline performance.\n\nStrong consultative selling skills with a track record of growing existing accounts and winning new business.\n\nSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.\n\nStrong problem-solving, active listening, time management, and organizational skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office with strong overall digital literacy.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nConsistent growth in territory revenue and share of wallet.\n\nStrong customer retention with expanded relationships across multiple contacts.\n\nA well-managed, data-driven pipeline with predictable results.\n\nTrusted advisor relationships with customers and effective collaboration with internal teams.\n\nThis role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in the field, understands the Multifamily and/or Hospitality MRO landscape, and is motivated by building long-term customer relationships while driving measurable growth.\nThis is a base plus commission eligible role, with no cap on your commission.
