You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.\nFerguson is now seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team!\nSchedule: Monday - Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm\nResponsibilities:\nAccurately updates information on computer to maintain inventory records. \nManages Material Test Reports (MTRs) and ISO documentation for industrial products. \nRepresent the FEI organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed. \nDevelops and recommends improvements to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs. \nExamines invoices and shipping documents to ensure accordance with federal regulations. \nMay recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency of operations. \nEnsure goods are verified against records of shipment. \nAccurately records received and shipped items according to established procedures. \nResponsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations. \nFollow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse. \nPerforms all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures. \nParticipates and presents in meetings and communicates any concerns to management. \nQualifications:\n0-2 years quality assurance experience preferred. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. \nExperience working in pipe yards, with Heat Numbers, MERI’s, ISO’s and MTR’s are strongly preferred. \nPrevious material handling equipment (sit-down forklift, order picker, reach truck) experience is a plus. \nWarehouse Management System and RF Scanner experience is preferred. \nContinued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices. \nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required. \nAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
