This is a hybrid role that can be based out of any of our 3 markets that include (Bismarck, ND, Fargo, ND, or Sioux Falls, SD). An in-office presence in accordance with Ferguson's Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote will be necessary.\nResponsibilities:\nManage and oversee local quotation efforts and staff across our 4 markets that include Bismarck and Fargo, ND and Sioux Falls and Rapid City, SD.\nBuilds project material estimates and performs material takeoffs as needed for multiple markets within the region.\nDaily communication with sales team to generate feedback and follow up of quotations process and product\nConfer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates\nFollow up on customer quotes and contacts vendors for material pricing\nAnalyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts to build material cost estimates\nAssess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops\nLead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of associates to ensure the team's resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met\nProvide direction and guidance to less experienced team members\nDevelops and maintains relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure coordination and exceptional service levels\nPerforms all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures\nRepresent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed\nQualifications:\n5+ years of construction related project management, project coordinator, quotations, or estimating experience, highly preferred\nWaterworks quotations or product knowledge is required\nPrior use of PlanSwift, BidTracer, Salesforce, or similar estimating software, highly preferred\nFamiliarity with customer quotations software, such as Planswift, Blubeam, and On Center are highly preferred\nConstruction experience with water & sewer and storm drain materials, a huge plus\nKnowledge of wastewater treatment plants, booster pumps, pump stations, a plus\nAbility to be flexible, adaptable and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to juggle multiple requests in a timely manner\nSelf-starter, creative problem solver, and eagerness to learn and grow\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at multiple levels of the organization\nAbility to function effectively in an autonomous setting\nProven attention to detail coupled with organizational skills\nAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
