This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in their work, and are committed to safety and teamwork.\nCompetitive starting pay of $23.00 per hour\nGrowth and advancement potential\nCommitment to safety and employee success\nIf you're dependable, safety-focused, and ready to build a career in a dynamic warehouse environment, we'd love to hear from you.\nMain Responsibilities:\nOperating forklift in order to move pallets of product from the production staging areas to the warehouse locations and/or from warehouse to loading a truck for shipment\nOperating forklift to deliver pallets of product into production lines; transporting semi and finished product to and from warehouse storage\nOperates handheld computer in the event that the RF system malfunctions\nManages shipping and receiving of raw material and finished product\nConducting material audits and checking each pallet for correct labeling, commodity code, pallet tag number, and pallet integrity before transporting to the intended process\nInspect material handling equipment and wooden pallets for damage and cleanliness prior to use and store\nUtilizing scanning equipment and computers for finished goods, understanding shelf life and lot codes and following FEFO (first expired/first out) rotation for WIP products\nWork at finished goods palletizer \nLoad trucks direct from the line with finished goods\nRecognizes, addresses, and escalates all quality issues; communicates issues and problems to Supervisor and rest of team\nFollows safety regulations and maintains compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)\nComply with all applicable food laws, regulations, and food safety requirements\nPerform related duties as assigned or required\nAbout You:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n3+ years of experience, 6+ months experience in a similar setting\nAbility to comprehend and communicate in English\nBasic math skills and ability to use a calculator\nGeneral Knowledge of computers\nExcellent attendance record\nForklift Certification required\nWhat We Offer:\nCareers with caring built in - discover our benefits here.\nAbout Ferrero:\nFerrero began its journey in the small town of Alba in Piedmont, Italy, in 1946.
