{"id":2191137,"url":"https://alion.io/job/ferrero-maintenance-planner","title":"Maintenance Planner","company":{"id":706532,"name":"Ferrero","domain":"ferrero.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/ferrero-2","size_band":"201-500","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"SuccessFactors","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"junior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Bloomington, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":63000,"max":88000,"currency":"USD","period":"year","gross":null,"usd_annual":88000},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":1,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Outlook","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-09T18:00:03Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-09","last_verified_at":"2026-10-12T08:55:53Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":2,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":2},"description":"About the Role:\nWe have a current opening for a Maintenance Planner and are actively reviewing applications.\nThe Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the maintenance management aspects for the Production Unit, collaborating with the Production Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor to guarantee the maintenance expected performances (time, cost) and for the investment management related to the Production Unit.\nSchedule/ Shift:\n7a - 3p, Monday- Friday\nAvailable for weekend coverage on a rotation basis\nMain Responsibilities:\nMakes the preventive and predictive maintenance plan, verifying equipment availability, other production needs, and maintenance resources availability.\nResponsible for Predictive Maintenance planning (PM frequency).\nConsolidates, in conjunction with UGP Manager, the maintenance activity plan during main shutdowns, considering also postponed activities and/or improvement activities and verifying equipment’s’ availability in respect of the production schedule.\nMonitor the maintenance plans progress throughout the week to ensure the plan is executed in a timely manner.\nPrepares the weekly / daily maintenance intervention plan, checking resources availability and considering shifting / postponing options.\nIdentifies corrective actions based on the equipment efficiency analysis.\nEvaluates the opportunity to allocate some maintenance activities to the production personnel, control the transfer process, and evaluates related outcomes.\nCollaborates, together with Maintenance Team, Engineering Team, and Production Team on new project design, implementation, and cost management.\nIn collaboration with the Technical Purchasing Department, prepares RFQ for negotiations.\nOversee the technical project management of new investments, also monitoring cost, time, results.\nResponsible for creating Assets Requisitions in collaboration with Finance Department.\nCollects and analyzes request for machinery and equipment variation, renewal and/or substitution of single parts, performing a first feasibility study in accordance with UGP.\nCollaborate with Ferrero Engineering, assures the supervision of the project.\nCollaborate with the Scheduling Team and Managers to ensure that production lines are properly staffed and maintained for optimal operational efficiency.\nAbout You:\nPost-High School/Associates Degree\n1-3 years of related experience\nKnowledge of product technology and process and food manufacturing\nKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance\nKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and production methods\nStrong production/ maintenance background\nKnowledge of maintenance strategies and processes\nAbility to build and maintain strong relationships\nAbility to coordinate and manage large scale maintenance projects\nProficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and SAP PM\nArtificial Intelligence Disclosure\nAs part of our recruitment process, Ferrero may use artificial intelligence (AI) enabled tools to assist with reviewing candidate applications. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
