The Maintenance Technician will have responsibility for electrical repair, equipment, and building maintenance.\nMain Responsibilities:\nRecord parts and materials used, record repairs and maintenance performed.\nInventory kept and management of all spare parts (including pricing).\nWill insource parts as needed based on inventory levels.\nGeneral upkeep of Maintenance Department.\nClean, lubricate, adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.\nDisassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.\nExamine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.\nObserve and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.\nRepair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.\nAbout You:\nEducation or Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED or 1-2 years of previous machine maintenance experience, electrical helpful.\nAbility to read and work from blueprints and schematics.\nSufficient reading level to understand written requirements/instructions.\nWorking knowledge of rigging methods used to move heavy equipment.\nPhysical\nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally, stand for up to 8 hours, use of hands.\nCertifications, Licenses, Registrations\nNone\nComputer Skills\nAbove average understanding of basic computer principles (Microsoft Excel, Word) to properly enter quality control information, and inventory information.\nArtificial Intelligence Disclosure\nAs part of our recruitment process, Ferrero may use artificial intelligence (AI) enabled tools to assist with reviewing candidate applications.
