This is a key customer facing role, supporting the day-to-day VMI operations between FUSA and our VMI integrated customers. Additionally, the VMI Planner will work strategically with the VMI Manager to identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop best practices that translate to cost savings by reducing customer returns & refusals, out of region shipments, and increasing overall Supply Chain efficiency. This position requires exceptional data analytical skills as well as strong systems navigation competencies.\nThe VMI Planner will work cross-functionally to ensure product availability and timely deployment. This position is also responsible for meeting customer inventory and service level targets. The VMI Planner is responsible for forecasting customer weekly replenishment needs and efficient purchase order cadence, while maintaining targeted inventory levels and overall support of customer every-day, seasonal, and promotional portfolio requirements.\nMain Responsibilities:\nThe VMI Planner is responsible for leading the execution of inventory replenishment and order execution. Key responsibilities include:\nSubmit customer purchase orders as needed to maintain in-stock inventory levels and optimize Supply Chain fill rate & on time (OTIF) performance metrics.\nWork with cross functional teams to ensure seamless replenishment execution.\nOptimize cost savings via order/truckload/shipment saturation.\nDeliver on Customer and Ferrero key KPIs of fill-rate & on time (OTIF) in conjunction with claims, returns, and refusal reductions.\nVMI Planner Accountabilities:\nLead VMI order execution.\nProvide uninterrupted support of customer inventory levels and supply chain efficiencies.\nIdentify and escalate system or process inefficiencies that negatively impact customer in-stock position or supply chain optimization.\nIdentify system and/or process improvement opportunities to the VMI manager, cross-functional teams, and customer stakeholders.\nWork in a matrix capacity within supply chain, sales, and transportation teams to prioritize orders and ensure complete fulfillment for seasonal and everyday order volume.\nMaintain accurate replenishment forecasts by analyzing sales data, monitoring inventory positions and customer (OTIF) performance levels\nGenerate Supply Chain cost savings through order saturation (mix and volume) and truckload optimization.\nAbout You:\n· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or Business Administration\n· 3-4 Years Supply Chain / Customer Logistics / VMI (preferred)\n· 3-4 Years of SAP/CRM\nCompetencies\n· Problem Solving\n· Systems Navigation\n· Business Acumen\n· Drive for Results\n· Matrix Communication skills\n· Dealing With Ambiguity\n· Process Management skills\n· Prioritization skills\nSkills\n· VMI & EDI Preferred\n· Strong SAP / CRM Systems navigation experience\n· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)\nArtificial Intelligence Disclosure\nAs part of our recruitment process, Ferrero may use artificial intelligence (AI) enabled tools to assist with reviewing candidate applications.
