Provides day-to-day leadership for quality activities and promotes continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Acts on behalf of the Quality Director when delegated or during their absence.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System for the project.\nSupport the development and lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Project Quality Management System and Quality Management Plans.\nOversee construction Quality activities, , and verify compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, and quality objectives.\nSupport compliance with contract documents, the QMP, ISO 9001, company procedures, and all applicable Federal, State, Local, and regulatory requirements.\nManage construction quality reporting, records, audits, inspections, testing activities, and quality documentation in accordance with project and corporate requirements.\nLead the management of nonconformities, including root cause analysis and the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions, escalating significant issues to the Quality Director.\nSupport the development and delivery of quality training programs, perform internal and subcontractor audits, and promote continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.\nCoordinate day-to-day quality-related communications, meetings, and distribution of relevant quality documentation to subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.\nCollaborate with Construction, Design, and Procurement support compliance with project requirements and quality standards.\nSupport the qualification and evaluation of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials from a quality perspective.\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Science, or related field.\nMinimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in quality, including experience in a management or supervisory position.\nExperience on major transportation infrastructure projects.\nApplicable certifications in Quality and Construction.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, SharePoint, and document control systems.\nExcellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience on P3, Design-Build, Design-Build-Finance, or Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain projects.\nExperience managing construction quality programs involving both design and construction disciplines.\nASQ, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Quality Management, or equivalent professional certifications.\nExperience working with transportation agencies and major highway authorities in the United States.\nKey Competencies\nLeadership and team development\nStrategic thinking and operational execution\nRisk-based quality management\nRoot cause analysis and problem solving\nContinuous improvement\nCommunication and stakeholder management\nAttention to detail\nDecision-making, accountability, and effective escalation\nThe Statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and levels of work performed by employees, but are not a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel classified.
