We always strive to cater to the needs of all travellers and keep improving our services.\nIf you want to know more about the team, read aboutFerryhopper in a nutshell.\nThe role\nAs an IT Operations & Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the development of IT operations, coordinate projects in cooperation with the IT Lead, identify opportunities for AI adoption and process automation, and implement technology solutions that improve productivity, security and operational efficiency.\nYou will collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions and deliver meaningful improvements. A professional who can turn ideas into practical solutions, improve existing processes and contribute to the evolution of our IT operations through technology, automation and AI.\nResponsibilities\nIT Project Management: Coordinate and contribute to IT projects, from planning and gathering requirements to implementation and documentation.\nAI & Automation: Identify and implement AI tools, workflow automation and integrations to improve business and IT processes.\nIT Operations: Maintain and improve IT infrastructure, endpoint management, cloud services and internal systems.\nProcess Optimization: Develop, document and streamline IT workflows and operational processes.\nSecurity & Compliance: Support cybersecurity initiatives, endpoint protection, access management and IT compliance.\nTechnology Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, AI platforms and SaaS solutions.\nStakeholder & Vendor Management: Work with internal departments and external partners to coordinate technical requirements and projects.\n IT Service Management: Monitor service performance, support KPIs and user satisfaction while providing advanced technical support (2nd Level) when required.\nRequirements\nAt least 3 years of professional experience in a similar IT position.\nDegree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\nGood knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, networking and cloud infrastructure.\nExperience coordinating IT projects and managing multiple priorities.\nPractical experience with AI tools (LLMs. AI Assistants/Agents) implementation, automation platforms and system integrations in business environments.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity, endpoint management and IT service management.\nStrong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to take ownership of tasks and deliverables in cooperation with the IT Lead.\nGreat communication and interpersonal skills.\nFluency in written and spoken English.\nNice to have\nFamiliarity with API integrations.\nKnowledge of ITIL or project management methodologies.\nFamiliarity with Click Up, Jira or similar project management tools.\nExperience with Jumpcloud, Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.\nRelevant certifications in IT, Project Management, Cloud or Cybersecurity.\nThe annual salary range for this position is 23.800-30.590 gross, under Greek Labour Law\nBenefits\nThe health of our company and the success of our products are directly related to the health of our team and the work environment we create for ourselves.
