We always strive to cater to the needs of all travellers and keep improving our services.\nIf you want to know more about the team, read aboutFerryhopper in a nutshell.\nThe role\nAs a Junior IT Support Engineer, you will primarily support our Customer Service Department, ensuring employees have the tools, systems, and technical assistance they need to perform their daily tasks efficiently. You will also contribute to day-to-day IT operations, workstation management, employee onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining a reliable IT environment. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and eager to learn, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service quality. You will work closely with the IT team, reporting to the IT Lead, gaining hands-on experience across different IT systems and processes while contributing directly to the daily IT operations and support of our Customer Service Department.\nResponsibilities\n\n1st Level Helpdesk Support: Provide daily technical support, manage and prioritize tickets, troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary.\nWorkstation Management: Assist with laptop setup, configuration, software installations, device maintenance and IT asset management.\nEmployee Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare and configure employee equipment, user accounts and access permissions, following established IT procedures.\nSystems Administration: Assist with the administration and maintenance of Google Workspace, JumpCloud, endpoint management tools and other business applications.\nIT Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, configurations and troubleshooting procedures.\nIT Operations: Follow established IT policies, procedures and security guidelines to ensure reliable and consistent IT services.\nRequirements\nDegree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge.\n1+ years of relevant experience\nFlexibility to work on a shift-based schedule (during peak season) with the latest shift ending at 20:00.\nBasic knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware.\nFamiliarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.\nBasic understanding of Google Workspace and identity/device management concepts.\nGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, follow procedures and work effectively within a team.\nWillingness to learn, develop technical skills and take on new responsibilities.\nGood command of written and spoken English.\nNice to have\n\nFamiliarity with JumpCloud, endpoint management, RMM or similar identity and device management platforms/tools.\nBasic knowledge of macOS and Linux.\nBasic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or similar).\nThe annual salary range for this position is 14.000 - 16.000 gross, under Greek Labour Law.\nBenefits\nThe health of our company and the success of our products are directly related to the health of our team and the work environment we create for ourselves.
