We’re looking for a passionate Senior Product Designer to join the team.\nThe Role:\nYou will own the design of our entire product ecosystem. You are responsible for the user interface and experience of our patient mobile app and our web-based clinical/admin portal. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role. You’ll join a small, senior product/engineering team, so day-to-day autonomy, proactive communication, and self-management are essential.\nResponsibilities:\nEnd-to-End Design:Lead the design process from research and user flows to clearly specced, dev-ready designs, with regular review and feedback cycles built around sprint and roadmap priorities.\nCross-Platform Execution:Design, iterate, and maintain features for our mobile app (iOS/Android) and web dashboards.\nDesign System Ownership:Partner with engineering to build and manage a scalable design system, ensuring consistency between design and code.\nAccessibility:Ensure all products meet accessibility standards to support a diverse patient and clinical audience.\nCollaboration:Work with Engineering and Product to define requirements, navigate technical constraints, and ship high-quality features.\nBrand Stewardship:Maintain visual identity across all products and support occasional wider design needs (e.g., assets or decks) as required in a small team.\nYour Skillset:\nProduct Design Generalist:Highly capable across both UX (logic, flows, structure) and UI (patterns, typography, visual craft).\nProduct Sense:Confidence in building the right solutions to serve business and customer needs, balancing best practices with design intuition.\nSystems Thinking:Ability to design specific features while accounting for their impact on the broader system and different user types.\nPragmatic Execution:You balance craft with the speed of a startup, knowing when to use established patterns vs. bespoke solutions - and you’re exploring where AI tools can help you work faster or better.\nFigma Expertise:Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and interactive prototyping with good file hygiene.\nCommunication:Clearly articulate the \"why\" behind design decisions, balancing clinical, technical, and commercial perspectives to align stakeholders.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience shipping functional digital products (mobile and web).\nExperience working in a high-growth startup.\nPreferred:Experience in healthcare or managing sensitive user data.\nWhat We Offer:\nHybrid working (in the office 3 days per week) with office near London Bridge (SE1)\n25 days holiday + bank holidays per annum\n3 wellbeing days per annum\nComprehensive healthcare cash plan\nEMI share option scheme (4-year vesting with 1 year cliff)\nEnhanced family-forming, fertility, menopause, women's health, men's health and neurodiversity policies, as well as progressive health leave for reproductive health challenges\nDiscounted reproductive health benefits\nTeam socials\n£300 monthly travel allowance\n£1k learning budget per year, post probation\nPlus other company benefits such as charity payroll giving, cycle to work, and employee referral bonuses\nFertifa is an inclusive employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.
