This role provides strategic account oversight, sales planning and forecasting, budget management, and cross-functional coordination to support distribution objectives.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nManage key IMO National Accounts and develop strategic account business plans to strengthen relationships, drive sales growth, and achieve channel objectives.\nLead National Account strategy and performance, including leadership, coaching, development, feedback, and accountability for National Account VPs and downstream sales teams. Establish team goals and ensure execution against sales objectives.\nPartner with senior internal sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders-including Competitive Intelligence, Marketing, Operations, and Product Development-to align priorities, optimize account support, and advance distribution initiatives.\nManage the assigned budget, including marketing investments, travel expenses, and event expenditures, ensuring responsible use of resources and alignment with business priorities.\nDevelop and deliver monthly sales reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics for the SVP, Annuity Distribution; complete ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.\nIdentify, assess, and onboard prospective key accounts; represent Life Sales on applicable committees and cross-functional project teams.\nSupervisory Responsibilities: This role has people leadership responsibilities, including managing performance, developing talent, and supporting engagement and team effectiveness.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nStrong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.\nStrong critical-thinking and strategic-planning abilities.\nAbility to communicate vision and strategy effectively to internal and external audiences.\nAbility to build productive working relationships across the organization and with key accounts.\nEducation Level\nBachelor's Degree\nYears of Experience\n10+ year of relevant experience\n4+ years of experience as sales leader in the insurance annuity and life business with a focus on sales and marketing\nLicense/Certification (Preferred, not required)\nIndustry designations of CLU, ChFC, CFP, FLMI, MSM\nAbility to travel up to: 70% of the time\nAdditional Information\nWork Environments\nF&G believes in an employee-centric flexible environment, which is why we offer the ability for in-office, hybrid and remote work arrangements.
