The position requires independent work to document business requirements, develop test strategies, and execute test plans. Responsibilities include adherence to the SDLC and producing project deliverables as needed.\nPrimary Success Factors\nDevelop and maintain testing strategy for the Bank based on industry standard Quality Assurance best practices\n\nLeads the initiative to expand and transform Quality Assurance processes based on the testing strategy\n\nDesigns and executes detailed test plans and test cases to verify that the software meets requirements; identify problems and defects that should be corrected prior to implementation; ensure that the system delivers the required specifications; verify that the system responds in an acceptable manner within the Bank's network environment; perform regression testing to verify that all pre-existing code still works properly; utilize testing tools as necessary for defect tracking, automated testing, and simulated load testing\n\nCoordinate with the infrastructure team to manage test environments and configurations\n\nParticipates as the members of scrum product teams\n\nCreates and provide input to project plans as they pertain to testing requirements\n\nLeads facilitated meetings with product teams and subject matter experts and ensure output is documented\n\nEnsures preparation of testing documentation as required\n\nProvide expertise on the tools for automation required for testing\n\nAdhere to practices that maintain traceability from User stories to defects and resolutions\n\nEnsure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations\n\nWorks with project manager / program manager to help them in effort and cost estimation activity, project scheduling and planning and identifying risks and issues with project and suggesting mitigation alternatives.\n\nCoach and inspire others into adopting a test-driven mindset\n\nEnsure that test conditions and test scripts are created and validated for user acceptance testing\n\nSupports user acceptance testing\n\nWhen performing business analyst functions ensure that the system requirements or user stories and acceptance criteria are planned for, elicited, analyzed, validated, documented and reviewed.\n\nConducts tests utilizing AI tools and technologies.\n\nRequired Experience\nBachelor’s degree in information systems / business administration or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred\n\nSeven or more years of experience in information systems, with an emphasis on the requirements of life cycle, development, and testing\n\nSeven or more years of experience leading testing efforts\n\nKnowledge of requirements analysis techniques\n\nStrong analytical and interpersonal skills\n\nKnowledge of current best practices, methodologies, standards, and approaches to testing\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral\n\nTechnology Competency:\nAutomated test scripting utilizing tools such as Selenium\n\nAI and API based testing is a plus\n\nPerform vulnerability testing utilizing tools such as Qualys\n\nDefect tracking software utilizing tools such as VersionOne\n\nSimulated load testing utilizing tools such as JMeter\n\nExperience with incorporating testing efforts with DevSecOps pipeline\n\nPractical experience in Agile SDLC concepts\n\nMS Office expertise\n\nFamiliarity with the following:\nSAFe concepts\n\nContinuous Integration tools such as GitActions\n\nOracle Database and PLSQL objects\n\nGitHub and ability to execute deployment scripts\n\nTechniques Competency:\nUse case description and modeling, or “story” descriptions\n\nConversion of use cases to test scripts\n\nRequirements management and traceability\n\nData analysis\n\nManual test case execution\n\nAutomated test case execution\n\nRegression testing\n\nIt is the policy of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh to ensure equal employment opportunity (EEO) for all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability status, genetic information, veteran's status, ancestry, sexual orientation or status as a parent as defined by applicable law.
