This role is integral to ensuring that the company adheres to federal and state regulations in mortgage lending. \nJob Responsibilities:\nCompliance Support: Act as a liaison for compliance matters, responding to inquiries and escalating when necessary.\nInbox Monitoring: Collaborate with the compliance team to manage and respond to emails promptly.\nHMDA & QC Audits: Assist with Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) processes and monthly audits with Lenderworks.\nAudit Tracking: Support prefund and post-close quality control audit responses and tracking.\nVendor Management: Manage FHM’s Quality Control vendor review (10% of 10% requirements)\nLoan Pipeline Monitoring: Assist in the reviewing and monitoring of FHM pipeline of loans to ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations, including but not limited to, RESPA, ECOA, HPML, ATR/QM\nAlert Resolution: Help clear loan-level compliance alerts (e.g., Mavent).\nTraining Development: Contribute to identifying and developing new training needs.\nReporting & Communication: Run monthly reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management.\nPost-Closing Liaison: Serve as a bridge between lenders and investors for compliance issues.\nAssist with other Compliance projects and audits as requested\nOther duties as assigned. \nRequirements\nMinimum 3 years mortgage lending operations or compliance experience (Conv, VA, FHA, USDA)\nStrong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations governing residential mortgage lending required\nExperience with Encompass360 preferred\nExperience with writing policy and procedures preferred \nStrong ability to work independently and as a team player\nStrong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to effectively resolve complex issues\nStrong attention to detail and excellent research abilities\nDemonstrate excellent written/verbal communications skills with all levels of the organization\nSuperior customer service skills are a must\nStrong ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task\nAbility to think critically and respond to the time-sensitive needs of the client\nInitiative, drive, self-motivation, good judgement, and commitment to assuming roles of increasing responsibility\nExperience with MS Office and
