Your primary goal will be to collaboratively support and improve the DevOps platform.\nResponsibilities:\nLeverage Engineering background and skills to transition to a DevOps Platform Engineer Apply experience to understand design concepts and implement features within the DevOps platform. \nBuild, test and deploy changes to a common toolchain framework. \nUnderstands Semantic versioning and release management. \n\nComplete understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Experience with breaking down software components into features, hotfixes and bugfixes. \nExtensive understanding of Git branching methodologies and the impact within the SDLC \n\nSupport existing DevOps platform by: Troubleshooting issues end-to-end (pipeline, source, build, package, ext. dependencies, deploy and runtime) \nSupport the full product lifecycle ensuring highly scalable and reliable service. \nUnit and integration testing of new and proposed changes \nIdentifying deficiencies and applying solutions to an entire platform through DevOps principles and framework \nUtilizes monitoring and observability to both troubleshoot and provide feedback into SDLC. \nUnderstand and promote developer and application Security best practices. \nParticipate in on-call to support the DevOps platform. \nAuthor support documentation, user guides for internal developers. \n\nWork closely with DevOps Architects and Leads to understand DevOps requirements and align with product and technology vision. \nContinuously explore and stay current on new and emerging technologies. \nRequired Knowledge and Experience:\nMinimum 10 years of experience as a DevOps or Systems Engineer or a bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience. \nKubernetes - Helm and Kustomize \nCRDs, services, operator model\nFamiliarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus. \n\nDocker containers - dockerfile \ndocker build, Buildkit\ndocker registry \n\nSource code management - Bitbucket (git) \nGit branching \nCode reviews and pull request approvals. \n\nBuild tools - Gradle, maven, npm/pnpm, nx-cloud\nBuildkit (docker build)\nfamiliarity with msbuild and dotnet is a plus. \nPackages - all types of mvn, node packages \nyum/dnf \nfamiliarity with nuget and chocolatey is a plus. \n\nScripting Languages - bash \npython \nYAML \nFamiliarity with PowerShell is a plus. \n\nProgramming Languages - Go language \nGroovy\nFamiliarity with Java and dotnet is a plus.\nFamiliarity with C# is a plus. \n\nDatabases/Caches: MongoDB \nPostgreSQL \nRedis \n\nFrameworks JavaScript frameworks - NodeJS, React, Solid, Angular \nJava Spring and Spring Boot \nFamiliarity with .NETcore or Django is a plus \n\nProductivity Tools Jira Software (scrum/Kanban Boards) or a similar ticketing system \nConfluence or a similar wiki tool \n\nIDE AI tools such as Devin Desktop\n\nExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with employees at all skill levels;
