This is a hands-on role for someone who both designs and builds, translating customer and business needs into user flows and interfaces and then implementing them rather than handing them off. You will administer the marketing and support platforms these experiences run on, partner closely with Marketing, automation, analytics, and external development vendors, and be accountable for making self-service genuinely easier than calling. The goal is to reduce customer effort and contact volume through digital experiences that work, look right, and ship. \nLocation:\nThe role will be based on-site at the office in Southlake, TX.\nEmployment Classification:\nExempt: Regular, Full-time\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n\nDuties / Responsibilities: \nOwn the design and front-end implementation of FiberFirst’s customer-facing web properties, including marketing pages, lead and signup forms, and self-service flows, from concept through live deployment.\nDesign the user interface and user experience of the FiberFirst customer mobile application, and work alongside the development partner building it to ensure what ships matches what was designed.\nBuild and maintain a design system and component library so the website, mobile app, and internal reporting stay visually consistent and on brand.\nAdminister and optimize core marketing and support platforms, including HubSpot, and ensure clean integration with the website, the mobile app, and the wider customer systems ecosystem.\nCo-own requirements with Marketing, partnering directly to translate campaign strategy, brand initiatives, and lead-generation goals into functional digital experiences, and keeping lead and prospect data flowing correctly between platforms.\nImplement front-end changes directly, covering markup, styling, and scripting, across forms, consent and compliance elements, landing pages, and content updates, without depending on an external queue.\nDesign the presentation layer of Power BI dashboards and reports, covering layout, visual hierarchy, color, and accessibility, so analytics are clear and usable rather than only accurate.\nPartner with the automation and conversational-AI team on embedded self-service surfaces such as chat, scheduling, and troubleshooting, so the customer journey is continuous across channels.\nTranslate customer research, contact-driver data, and business requirements into designs that measurably reduce customer effort and support contacts.\nOwn accessibility (WCAG), responsive and mobile-first layouts, page performance, and cross-browser and cross-device behavior.\nPlan and run usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate based on evidence rather than preference.\nReview vendor design and front-end deliverables against requirements, and raise gaps before they reach production.\nMaintain design assets, style guides, prototypes, and documentation as a single source of truth, and manage intake and prioritization across multiple products and stakeholders.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation and / or Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction or Visual Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent portfolio and demonstrated experience.\nThree or more years designing and building digital products for web and/or mobile, with a portfolio of work that shipped to real users.\nDemonstrated experience owning a product surface end to end, covering research, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity interface design, and front-end implementation.\nExperience working from and contributing to a design system.\nExperience administering or configuring a marketing automation or CRM platform; HubSpot specifically preferred.\nExperience collaborating with or reviewing the work of external development agencies or vendors preferred.\nExperience designing data visualizations, dashboards, or reports preferred; Power BI experience preferred, not required.\nRequired Skills / Abilities: \nProficiency with a modern design and prototyping tool (e.g., Figma), and with product management or ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).\nWorking proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and comfort making changes directly in a content management system such as WordPress.\nFamiliarity with a modern front-end or cross-platform framework (e.g., React or React Native) sufficient to read, review, and contribute to mobile application interface code.\nStrong visual design skills across layout, typography, color, and interaction design, with a sharp eye for detail.\nUser-centered design practice, including research, usability testing, and evidence-based iteration.\nWorking command of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive, mobile-first design.\nA data-visualization sense, meaning the ability to make reports and dashboards clear, intuitive, and easy to act on.\nAbility to present and defend design decisions to business stakeholders and to vendors.\nAbility to manage multiple products and competing priorities independently.\nFamiliarity with version control (Git) and a collaborative development workflow.\nPhysical Requirements:\nDefinitions:\nContinuously: 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day or 60 times per hour\nFrequently: 3-6 hours in an 8-hour day or up to 12-60 times per hour\nOccasionally: up to 3 hours in an 8-hour day or 1-12 times per hour\nNever: No physical requirement\nIn a typical work day, the employee will be required to:\nSit: Continuously\nStand: Occasionally\nWalk: Occasionally\nKeyboarding: Continuously\nFine manipulation: Continuously\nLift: Will require capability to lift up to 10 pounds.\nCarry: Will require capability to carry up to 10 pounds.\nTravel: Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.\nWork Environment: The work environment is primarily office-based.
