This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports project fulfillment requirements, maintains serialized asset tracking, and assists in establishing and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The Inventory Specialist will work closely with Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure equipment availability and inventory integrity.\nKey Responsibilities\nInventory Management & Tracking\nReceive incoming materials and equipment and verify accuracy against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.\nInspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues as necessary.\nProperly stage, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.\nMaintain accurate inventory counts using inventory management software and manual tracking processes.\nMonitor stock levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs to management.\nConduct routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits.\nReconcile inventory variances and investigate root causes of discrepancies.\nProcess inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and shipments within the company's ERP system.\nMaintain warehouse bin locations, shelving assignments, and inventory storage layouts.\nEnsure all inventory items are properly identified, labeled, and traceable.\nMaintain serialized asset tracking and chain-of-custody records for equipment and materials.\nTrack product movements and inventory status to ensure real-time accuracy.\nProject Fulfillment & Equipment Staging\nPick, pack, and stage materials and equipment for project deployments.\nVerify material readiness and completeness prior to shipment.\nCoordinate project material requirements with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations teams.\nEnsure project materials are available according to project schedules and deployment requirements.\nPrepare shipment documentation and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers and logistics providers.\nSupport emergency or expedited material requests to prevent project delays.\nSafety & Compliance\nFollow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.\nUtilize proper material handling practices to prevent injury or equipment damage.\nEnsure inventory storage practices comply with safety and operational requirements.\nMaintain an audit-ready warehouse environment.\nGeneral Operations\nCommunicate effectively with internal departments regarding inventory availability and material status.\nAssist with logistics, material movement, and operational support activities as required.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and warehouse operations.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMinimum 2 years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, or related operational experience.\nExperience with inventory management systems or ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.\nExperience performing inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and inventory audits.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.\nAbility to accurately handle large volumes of inventory transactions.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.\nWorking Conditions\nWarehouse and office environment.\nFrequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and material handling activities.\nOccasional overtime may be required to support project deadlines, inventory counts, or urgent operational
