Este puesto será fundamental para garantizar la satisfacción del cliente, ya que interviene en múltiples áreas de nuestro proceso de control de calidad. Trabajarás todos los días con la siguiente generación de hardware y serás responsable de una parte importante del éxito de los proyectos de nuestros clientes. Este puesto se encargará de la inspección de calidad.\nÁreas de responsabilidad: funciones esenciales\n Calibración y verificación: Programar y realizar la calibración interna de instrumentos de medición (calibradores, micrómetros, manómetros, termómetros, etc.) y coordinar las calibraciones externas con laboratorios acreditados.\n Análisis del sistema de medición (MSA): Realizar estudios de repetibilidad y reproducibilidad (Gage R&R) para asegurar que los métodos y equipos de medición sean adecuados para el proceso.\n Gestión documental: Mantener actualizados los certificados de calibración, los historiales de los equipos y los procedimientos operativos estándar (SOP) de acuerdo con las normas aplicables (p. ej., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, IATF 16949).\nSoporte técnico y capacitación: Asesorar y capacitar al personal de producción y de calidad sobre el uso y cuidado adecuados de los instrumentos de medición.\nCompletar a tiempo los trabajos de inspección diarios de acuerdo con las órdenes de trabajo programadas.\nAsegurar que las piezas se envíen a los clientes de acuerdo con nuestras especificaciones.\nSeguir el proceso y los criterios especificados para inspeccionar los productos, tomar fotografías, registrar la información requerida y cargarla o capturarla en los sistemas indicados.\nOtras tareas asignadas por el líder de Calidad.\nCaracterísticas deseadas: habilidades, aptitudes, rasgos, carácter y cualidades distintivas\n Lectura de planos: Dominio avanzado de Dimensionamiento y Tolerancia Geométrica (GD&T) en inglés.\n Uso de equipo: Manejo experto de herramientas manuales (calibradores vernier, micrómetros, indicadores de carátula) y de equipo de alta precisión (CMM, brazos articulados, perfilómetros, comparadores ópticos).\nExperiencia en programación de CMM / FARO.\nConocimiento profundo de la norma ISO/IEC 17025 (Requisitos generales para la competencia de los laboratorios de ensayo y calibración).\nGran atención al detalle.\nExcelente comunicador, con un fuerte sentido de responsabilidad.\nInterés en crear y optimizar procesos y sistemas.\nApasionado por la mejora continua y el aprendizaje.\nViajes\nDisponibilidad para viajar el 10% anual dentro de México (visitas a MP).\nAbout MISUMI Americas\nMISUMI Americas, a division of MISUMI Group, is a leading provider of standard, configurable, and custom manufacturing solutions. The metrologist ensures that production and quality control processes comply with international regulations and standards, minimizing variation and preventing product defects.\nImpact of this role:\nCommitment to high standards of design and drive for perfection. This role will be vital to ensuring customer satisfaction by touching on multiple areas of our quality control process. You’ll be handling the next generation of hardware every day and will be responsible for a significant part of the success of our customers’ projects. This role will take care of the quality inspection.\nAreas of Responsibility: Essential Functions\n Calibration and Verification: Schedule and perform internal calibration of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, thermometers, etc.) and coordinate external calibrations with accredited laboratories.\n Measurement System Analysis (MSA): Conduct repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies to ensure that measurement methods and equipment are suitable for the process.\n Document Management: Maintain up-to-date calibration certificates, equipment histories, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, IATF 16949).\nTechnical Support and Training: Advise and train production and quality personnel on the proper use and care of measuring instruments.\nComplete the daily inspection works timely according to the scheduled work orders.\nEnsure that parts ship to customers according to our specifications.\nFollow the specified process and criteria to inspect the goods, take pictures, and record down the required info. and upload to or fill out in specified systems.\nOther tasks assigned by the Quality leader.\nDesired Traits: Distinguished skills, abilities, features, character, and quality.\n Blueprint Reading: Advanced mastery of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in English.\n Equipment Usage: Expert handling of hand tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) and high-precision equipment (CMMs, articulated arms, profilometers, optical comparators).\nExperience with CMM Programming / FARO.\nIn-depth knowledge of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories).\nPossesses strong attention to detail.\nExcellent communicator, strong sense of responsibility.\nInterest in creating and optimizing processes and systems.\nPassionate about
