By integrating a vast catalog of components with a world-class digital manufacturing platform, MISUMI Americas empowers engineers and procurement teams to accelerate innovation across the entire product lifecycle. With operations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Chicago, the company serves as a vital partner for the most innovative companies in the Americas.\nImpact In This Role\nAs a Senior Enterprise Account Executive - Robotics, you'll work with some of the most exciting robotics OEMs, warehouse automation integrators, and companies building industrial robots, cobots, AMRs/AGVs, and humanoid platforms - helping them source precision components (actuators, end-effectors, structural parts, enclosures) as they move from prototype through low-volume and bridge production. You'll dig into each customer's business goals - financial KPIs, vision, key initiatives, org structure, in-house manufacturing capabilities, R&D labs - and their internal decision-making structure, so you can build relationships with the right people. You'll also learn their product roadmaps, requirements, and priorities for bringing products to market, along with their existing partnerships (design partners, contract manufacturers, local shop preferences). With that knowledge, you'll configure the right solution to speed up their time to market - identifying both prototyping opportunities and production-class manufacturing programs that let customers launch products faster than they thought possible. Your leadership will be key to coordinating the full MISUMI Americas team supporting you. You'll deliver sales presentations and lead on-site meetings - sales meetings, quarterly business reviews, tech days - to build confidence, deepen relationships, and grow customer lifetime value.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nBuild relationships with mechanical/electrical engineers and supply chain leads at robotics and automation companies\nTrack industry trends (humanoid robotics, warehouse automation, autonomous mobile robots) to identify new account targets\nUnderstand robotics-specific manufacturing needs - tight tolerances, lightweight materials, small-batch runs, rapid design iteration as robots move from R&D to scale\nBuild credibility and trust with C-suite stakeholders\nProspect to build and maintain a healthy pipeline\nMeet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas\nMaintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting in Salesforce.com \nGenerate new business opportunities within your target account list\nBuild meaningful, long-term relationships with key customer contacts\nRepresent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events\nBecome a true expert in your accounts' product development needs, plans, and challenges\nHelp expand MISUMI Americas' reputation as a leader in digital manufacturing\nSpend over 50% of your time traveling to meet customers face-to-face\nWork within a team sales structure\nCollaborate cross-functionally to win complex deals\nDesired Traits\nExperience selling specifically into robotics, automation, or advanced hardware companies - not just manufacturing broadly\nFamiliarity with robotics components/subsystems (actuators, sensors, grippers, drivetrains) a plus\nComfortable working with customers who iterate hardware designs quickly and need fast part turnaround\nMinimum of 8 years consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets\nManufacturing and supply chain industry experience\nBS/BA degree preferred\nStrong grasp of product development and related business requirements\nExperience driving consultative, solution-based sales and expanding within strategic industry verticals\nTrack record of quickly building a new pipeline and managing a forecast to consistently exceed quota\nExpertise with modern sales tools (CRM, sequencing, prospecting, collaboration platforms)\nExperience with TAM/SAM analysis\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nPhysical Demands \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nStandard office and home-office work environment with extensive computer, phone, and video-conference use. Ability to travel by air and drive within assigned territory, including navigating customer plant floors and manufacturing environments during field visits.\nPerks and Benefits\nCompetitive medical, dental, and vision insurance\n401K plan\nParental leave programs \nPaid volunteer days\nAnd much, much more!\nSalary: $100,000 base per year, $100,000 variable per year (uncapped)\nInterested in learning more? We look forward to hearing from you soon.\nWe’re actively seeking teammates who:\nBring diverse perspectives and experience to our culture and company. \nExcel at being part of a strong, empathetic team.\nThrive in an environment emphasizing respect, honesty, collaboration, and growth.\nHave an ‘always learning’ mindset that celebrates learning, not just wins. \nHelp us continue to build a world-class organization that values the contributions of all of our teammates\nWe encourage applications from members of underrepresented groups, including but not limited to women, members of the LGBTQ community, people of color, people with disabilities, and veterans.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5522,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":8,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan","Parental leave","Vision insurance"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Precision Engineering"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T07:43:50Z"}],"liveness":{"score":52,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.516,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":49,"reasons":["conf:1","agency","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-23T20:37:45Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":100000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/fictiv-senior-enterprise-account-executive-robotics-boston","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/fictiv-senior-enterprise-account-executive-robotics-boston.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-23T20:37:45Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
