We underwrite, administer and handle claims on behalf of our carriers, so the quality of our insurance operation is our product.\nWhat You’ll Do\nYou handle claims for our embedded insurance programmes, including gadgets, electronics, bicycles, furniture and more. You report to the Claims Lead. You carry your own claims file, make decisions within your authority, and grow into more complex claims as you learn. You'll work with AI tools every day. Not as a side project, but as the normal way we handle claims.\nYour core responsibilities:\nHandle claims from first notification to settlement or declinature, within your authority.\n\nReview documentation and assess claims against the policy conditions, using AI tools to read, summarise and check files faster.\n\nCommunicate clearly and empathetically with customers, in writing and by phone, so they always know where their claim stands and why.\n\nKnow how you can apply, integrate and work responsibly with AI in your daily work\n\nArrange repairs, replacements and payouts with our vendors and partners.\n\nKeep claim records accurate and complete, including reserves and payments.\n\nSpot signs of fraud or irregularities and escalate them.\n\nFlag where the process, templates, AI workflows or policy conditions cause unnecessary work or confusion, and help fix them.\n\nAbout You\nMust-haves:\n0-3 years of experience in claims handling, or in insurance customer service with regular claims contact\n\nBachelor or higher qualification\n\nA basic understanding of how non-life insurance and claims work, and the drive to learn the rest quickly.\n\nClear, friendly and precise communication, both written and spoken.\n\nStructured and accurate, comfortable handling many files at once.\n\nComfortable using AI tools and modern software in your daily work.\n\nFluent English, plus Dutch or German at native or near-native level.\n\nBased in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam.\n\nNice-to-haves:\nBoth Dutch and German.\n\nWft Basis / Wft Schadeverzekeringen Particulier, or a German equivalent (e.g. Kaufmann/-frau für Versicherungen und Finanzen).\n\nExperience with gadget, electronics, bicycle, furniture or travel claims.\n\nExperience using AI tools in a work setting.\n\nStartup or scale-up experience.\n\nWhat We Offer\nWorld-class team: Work with top experts in their fields\n\nHigh-impact role: Shape Fidamy’s operational backbone and grow into larger responsibilities\n\nInnovation: Help launch cutting-edge embedded insurance products\n\nCompetitive package: Base salary between EUR 35k-50k and a Performance-based bonus\n\nModern Amsterdam office with flexible, hybrid work options\n\nRegular team events and social activities\n\nReady to Join Us?\nExcited about our mission, even if you don’t meet every requirement?
