The Amendment Consultant provides document and ERISA compliance support to clients and investment professionals, who sell, market and service the 401(k)/403(b) retirement business. The Amendment Consulting team supports all WI markets, including TEM, and partners closely with the Legal, Implementation Project Management, Client Relationship Management, and Sales groups to ensure successful completion of Amendments.\nUse your skills, experience and talents to be a leader in groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. You will take the lead as you:\nDraft key objectives, strategies and apply the data to make business decisions\nAccountable for the Amendment Consulting process, delivering in the service model and communicating the service needs with business partners\nLead, manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management for The Amendment Consulting process\nAssess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the Amendment Consulting strategy.\nThe Expertise and Skills You Bring\nBachelor’s Degree is required\nExperience managing operations teams, preferably in multiple site\nExperience working in an Agile environment, preferred\nASPPA designation, preferred\nYou are comfortable working in an Agile environment\nYou have led successful process improvement projects - using the Agile methodology\nYour ability to manage associates in a matrix structure\nSkills (effective communication, able to work with teams, presentation skills) required for the role.\nLeading client support teams\nManaging to appropriate Key Process Indicators (KPI)\nCoordinating associates across multiple teams\nResolving escalations to successful outcomes\nWork with Business Partners to minimize risk\nThe Team\nThe Amendment Consulting team is part of the WI Implementation team within Workplace Investing (WI).\nPre-Approved Document Amendment support is offered across all markets within WI.\nServices include:\nPrimary Client Contact for IRS Preapproved Document Amendment requests\nRespond to technical and process related questions from clients and business partners\nParticipation in assigned projects as required\nStakeholders include our clients (Plan Sponsors), Managing Directors (Fidelity Relationship Managers), Senior Management, Legal, and Associates across Implementation and Internal Business Partners.\nFidelity’s Onsite Working Model\nFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
