You will interact regularly with analysts, portfolio managers and traders across a variety of investment mandates. Our investment process is heavily team-based, and the successful associate will contribute regularly and effectively to group activities.\nThe Fixed Income Division’s research associate program utilizes an apprenticeship model and provides the participants with experience in fixed income research and investing, as well as in-depth training in particular sectors. The program is designed to last 4 years, at which time successful associates are typically positioned for more senior roles within Fidelity, the asset management industry, or top graduate programs.\nThe Expertise and Skills You Bring\nWe are currently seeking candidates who have the following characteristics:\n1-2 years of relevant work experience; progress towards the CFA designation is a plus\nStrong quantitative analytical skills, including experience with financial modeling\nCritical thinking and intellectual curiosity, including demonstrated interest in investing\nHighly organized and strong attention to detail\nResults-driven; self-motivated to succeed and demonstrate work ethic\nAbility to work and contribute as part of a team\nExcellent oral and written communication\nThe Team\nFidelity’s Fixed Income division is one of the leading managers of bond and money market instruments with over $2 trillion in fixed income assets.
